Cafe Raven

The Cafe Raven is an annual spoken word competition held every Spring. There is a competition for our students both middle school and high school, as well as a competition for adult poets. Anyone intersted in performing should contact Mr. Fernandez at fernandez@bxletters.org

This year's Cafe Raven was quite a success. The students who particpated were Melanie Rivera, Onajah Joseph, Tiana Lee and Jonathan Garcia. In regards to adults, Consciout Righter, Tyrelle Kelly and Dayelle Brown competed in the slam. The winners of the competition were Jonathan Garcia and Dayelle Brown.
