Jazz at Lincoln Center has a program for public schools in New York City and Bronx Academy is lucky to be one of the several dozen now receiving their support.  The program consists of teacher training in the history of Jazz and its relationship to American history at the beginning of the year, a curriculum on jazz, 3 sessions on jazz from different periods at the school, and 2 school trips to Jazz at Lincoln Center to see a concert.
