Let's Get Ready is an SAT prepatory program that was introduced at BAL in the Fall of 2014. Since then, more than 50 of our 11th and 12th graders have successfuly completed their semester long curriculum.

 

Let's Get Ready's specially trained Coaches are current college student volunteers who teach SAT strategies to help our students attain higher scores and have more confidence in their test taking skills. These Coaches recently completed college applications and took the SATs themselves. They are eager to share their knowledge and experience with our students, and guide you from start to finish. 

 

Each Program Entails:

• 30 hours of intensive instruction on the math and critical reading/writing components and specific skills needed for the SAT

• 2 diagnostic SAT tests taken for practice and to gauge student progress

• 15 hours of comprehensive information and guidance regarding college selection, applications, financial aid and scholarships

• Average SAT score increase of 115 points
